摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a light guide of a surface light source device capable of attaining the high quality surface light source device by easily solving a problem of seeing-through of fine uneven structure arrangement patterns.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for a light guide of a surface light source device, a foaming surface layer 244 containing foam with laser irradiation processing, wherein a cross section including a normal direction of at least one primary surface 243 becomes a concave shape, is formed on at least a part of a zone of at least one primary surface 243 of a plate-shaped light guide material which is made of an acrylic resin and in which a melt flow rate (MFR) satisfies the expression (1) of 1.12≤(350-T)/MFR at 10% thermal decomposition temperature (T) and at temperature of 260°C and at load of 10 kg on the basis of measurement of heat weight reduction.
