<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a girder member of a two-way corrugated fiberboard-made pallet which can improve the efficiency of the folding and bending work of a corrugated fiberboard and can secure the compression strength in such an extent that even if weight is applied to each angle member used at four corners in order to prevent the collapse of a cargo upon stacking the cargo etc. on the pallet, the top plate of the pallet is not broken. <P>SOLUTION: A girder member 304 is formed by being bent from one corrugated fiberboard into a rectangular parallelepiped, and has a total length equivalent to the length of one side of a pallet. The side of the girder member 304 is sealed along the total length of the girder member 304. The girder member 304 comprises a plurality of belt-like beam pieces and legs V4 rectangular in shape and formed at both ends of the girder member 304. The leg V4 is formed into a rectangular parallelepiped having a cavity inside by sequentially bending a plurality of leg pieces 18 and 28 at right angles.
