A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to the present invention, the mobile terminal and the control method thereof comprise: a display; at least one optical lens which changes an optical path of light generated in the display at a fixed refractive index; a prism which reflects the light, which passes the at least one optical lens, at least once to guide the light to a target spot; a variable lens which is located on the optical path of the light between the display and the target spot and which changes a refractive index of at least one portion by a control signal so as to change an optical path of at least a portion of the light; and a control unit which generates the control signal. According to the present invention, the optical path of the light, which is generated in the display, can be changed by including the variable lens, which can change a refractive index. |
