Provided is an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprising a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive, wherein the organic solvent includes a sulfur-containing compound represented by chemical formula 1 and fluoroalkyl ether, and the additive includes a phosophagen compound represented by chemical formula 3. Also, provided is a lithium secondary battery comprising the electrolyte. In chemical formula 1 and 3, each substituent is the same as defined in the specification.
