Provided in the present invention are a composition for treating a wound, comprising peptide fragments or small peptides derived from a fibroblast growth factor (FGF); and a composition for inhibiting skin aging or skin wrinkle formation. The peptide activates a fibroblast growth factor acceptor to induce synthesis of collagen, and has an activity of growing dead cells and promoting angiogenesis of the skin. The peptide is used in wound treatment, and control of skin aging or skin wrinkle formation.
