A multi-layer division magnetization permanent magnet type high resolution encoder includes: a permanent magnet fixing type holder where a permanent magnet is fixated; a magnet for incremental signal detection for detecting an incremental signal by penetrating the permanent magnet fixing type holder to be combined; a magnet for absolute position detection for detecting an absolute position by penetrating the permanent fixing type holder to be combined; and a magnet for multi-turn rotation detection for multi-turn detection by penetrating the permanent magnet fixing type holder to be combined. The magnet for incremental signal detection, the magnet for absolute position detection and the magnet for multi-turn detection can be arranged in a multi-layered structure along a length direction of the permanent magnet fixing type holder. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a hollow type optical encoder can be produced by an absolute position calculation method and a signal processing method for high resolution without difficulty. In addition, the multi-layer division magnetization permanent magnet type high resolution encoder is capable of high resolution processing without restrictions on the number of pulses per unit rotation; and is capable of absolute value calculation as well as high resolution processing on the basis of a sinusoidal signal outputted through the division magnetization type permanent magnet and transmitting the same through high speed communications, and thus can be expanded and applied to various fields by linking the same with a high speed serial communications method. |
