The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for selecting a channel in a wireless communications system. An operation method of a terminal in a wireless communications system comprises the following processes: transmitting information about a second channel and information about a third channel to a terminal of another party from a first channel; transmitting a first request signal for the connection with the terminal of another party from the second channel; and transmitting a second request signal for the connection with the terminal of another party from the third channel, when the response signal for the first request signal is not received from the second channel. The first channel belongs to a first band, and the second channel belongs to a second band. In addition, the present invention includes other embodiments as well as the embodiment.
