The present invention relates to a partition-based system and a partition re-driving method thereof, wherein when a primary partition breaks down, handover of a mission to a shadow partition is performed to address a time delay during re-driving of a partition. The partition-based system comprises: a primary partition, a basic partition; a shadow partition as an extended partition; and a health monitor transmitting a state change command to each partition according to a state of a partition identified through internal communications and controlling the system to perform a mission, wherein the health monitor performs handover of a mission from the primary partition to the shadow partition when the primary partition is abnormally closed by a breakdown and the shadow partition is in a standby state, thereby ensuring continuity of a system mission. |
