A mobile terminal is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a touch screen which displays a graphic image displaying one or more categories in a first area; a touch sensing module which recognizes a first touch signal having first directivity; and a controller which controls the position or the size of a certain category among one or more categories displayed in the first area to be displayed as a changed state in accordance with the recognized first touch signal.
