A coupling device for connecting a beer keg to a gas supply line and to a beer dispense line comprises: a body unit which is adapted to be mounted on a keg extractor tube of a beer keg, said body unit having a tubular body portion and gas inlet conduit 40 communicating with a bore of said body unit. Also provided is a beer outflow tube locating in the bore of tubular body portion and being axially moveable there along between a first extended position in which a beer inlet end of the outflow tube is adapted to locate within the keg extractor tube and a second retracted position, an actuator operatively connected to the outflow tube for effecting movement thereof between said first and second portions, and a locking arrangement releasably locking the outflow tube in the first position. The gas inlet conduit of the body unit has an upstream section 41 including the inlet of the conduit and said upstream section has an axis 45which is at an angle, a, of 0° to 10° relative to a notional line 46 that is parallel to the axis of the tubular body portion. |
