PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adequate determination of the timing for starting contrast MRA imaging even by a less-experienced operator.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to a first embodiment includes: positioning image acquisition means; setting means; monitor image acquisition means; display control means; and notification means. The positioning image acquisition means acquires a positioning image relating to a subject. The setting means sets a determination region in the positioning image in accordance with designation by an operator. The monitor image acquisition means repeatedly acquires monitor images relating to the subject at prescribed time intervals. The display control means displays an interest region image presenting a scope of the region of interest on the monitor image every time when the monitor image is acquired. The notification means notifies the operator of guide information guiding a region desirable as the determination region. |
