A lens apparatus 110 which includes an optical system including movable lens groups ZL and FL, includes first correction lens groups 12 and 14 which adjust an optical performance of the optical system by changing a position with respect to an optical axis; a second correction lens group 111 which adjusts a center position of an image which is formed by the optical system by changing the position with respect to the optical axis in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis; and a control unit 20 includes a control unit 20 which controls driving of the first correction lens groups so as to correct the change of the optical performance due to movement of the movable lens group based on position information of the movable lens group and controls driving of the second correction lens group so as to correct displacement of the center of an image due to the movement of the movable lens group and the first correction lens group based on position information of the first correction lens group. |
