<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening force reducing lock capable of eliminating a notched part of a building side skeleton, improving an appearance and crime prevention properties, preventing a finger clamping accident, and eliminating a picking rod as well. <P>SOLUTION: An opening force reducing lock 11 includes: a strike plate provided on a frame supporting a door; an operation member provided on the door, to which operation force is to be inputted; a lock box 17 provided on the door; a plunger 47 driven inside the lock box by output from the operation member operated by the operation force; an inversion latch 31 provided in the lock box 17, which is made freely movable to/from the door so as to be locked to the strike plate, rotated on a plane orthogonal to a door rotation center, and made freely invertible; and a latch forcibly swinging part 57 provided between the plunger 47 and the inversion latch 31, for rotating the inversion latch 31 following the plunger 47, and prying it with a hole edge part of the strike plate as a point of action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
