According to the present invention, an electric compressor comprises: a compression device; an electric motor driving a compression device; a housing storing the compression device and the electric motor; an inverter box positioned on an outer surface of the housing; an inverter substrate stored inside the inverter box and having an inverter circuit supplying power to the electric motor and having a first surface and a second surface which is the opposite surface to the first surface; a plurality of fastening members fixating the inverter substrate to the inverter box; and a reinforcement member having a first end part fixated to the inverter box and having a second end part soldered on the first surface or the second surface of the inverter substrate. The reinforcement member is extended toward the first surface or the second surface of the inverter substrate inside the inverter box. The reinforcement member is not electrically connected to the inverter circuit of the inverter substrate.
