The present invention relates to platform screen doors for preventing accidental falls off the platform onto the lower track area, which is installed in a platform. The platform screen doors (100) comprises: an upper guide rail unit (130) which is installed by being separated from the ground of a track at regular intervals and is installed in the longitudinal direction of the track; a folding door (120) which is folded in both left and right sides by being combined with the lower part of the upper guide rail unit (130) and separates the platform from the track; and a main body (110) which moves along the upper guide rail unit (130) by being combined with the lower part of the upper guide rail unit (130) and guides the folding part of the folding door (120) by being installed in both end parts of the folding door (120). The present invention: is able to reduce passenger inconvenience caused when stop positions of a rail motor deviate from normal range since the opening position of an operational door is unrestricted; enables various kinds of rail motors to stop despite of different widths between entrance doors of the rail motors; and has a remarkable effect which secures the safety of passengers by opening doors both in the track side and in the platform side in the case of an emergency situation. |
