An interface apparatus is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the interface apparatus comprises a sensing unit which is provided on a touch screen and senses a touch of a user, and a control unit. The control unit: confirms the direction of a drag until the touch is cut off, when the touch is detected; provides a Korean initial consonant input interface which sequentially changes in response to the drag, when the drag is extended in a first direction or a reverse direction of the first direction; provides a Korean vowel input interface which sequentially changes in response to the drag, when the drag is extended in a second direction or a reverse direction of the second direction; provides a Korean final consonant input interface which sequentially changes in response to the drag, when the drag is extended in a changed direction after the direction of the drag changes from the second direction or the reverse direction of the second direction to the first direction, the reverse direction of the first direction, the third direction or the reverse direction of the third direction; and displays the input interfaces on the touch screen. |
