<p>PURPOSE:To increase light energy and to eliminate lengthwise irregularity in the quantity of light by arranging a photoconductive material or condenser lens between an optical microshutter array and a light source consisting of the line filament type halogen lamp of a light signal generation part and a cylindrical mirror. CONSTITUTION:The line filament type halogen lamp 101 which is turned on with a constant voltage is arranged at the light signal generation part of an image printer and luminous flux from the lamp 101 is made incident on the photoconductive material 103 directly or after being reflected plural time by the cylindrical mirror 102 whose internal surface is polished. The internal surface of the photoconductive material 103 is polished with buff to satisfy the internal total reflection condition of the luminous flux and the luminous flux is guided to the optical microshutter array 104 to remove light energy from the lamp 101, thereby protecting the array 104 against heat. Then, an image from this array 104 is converged by a convergent optical fiber array 105 to form the image on a photosensitive body 106. Thus, the lengthwise irregularity in the quantity of light from the lamp 101 is eliminated to increase the light energy.</p> |
