The present invention relates to a device to protect a cylinder of a construction machine. The device includes: a slide cover protecting a cylinder; and at least one sliding assisting device fixed to the cylinder to assist the sliding of the slide cover. According to the present invention, the device to protect a cylinder of a construction machine is capable of preventing noise and vibration and effectively protecting a contact part between the cylinder and the cylinder protecting device by including the sliding assisting device, which makes smooth the up-and-down movement of the cylinder protecting device, and therefore, the extension of the lifespan of the sliding assisting device is maximized. Moreover, according to the present invention, the device to protect a cylinder of a construction machine is capable of easily recognizing a time when the noise and vibration are generated by recognizing a time when the lifespan of the protecting device is finished through a sensor, and maximizing the work efficiency of a construction machine by efficiently preventing damage to the cylinder. |
