INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM COPING WITH PLURAL LANGUAGES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system coping with plural languages, capable of distributing information to a portable terminal by a designated language.SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises: a storage part for storing language designation information; means for automatically establishing connection with an access point; means for automatically sending an information distribution request including the language designation information to an information distribution server; and means for receiving a content which is sent from the information distribution server. The information distribution server comprises: a first database for storing each of plural contents for every access point and for every language in advance; means for referring to the first database for determining the corresponding content, based on at least an IP address of the access point where is passed, and the language designation information included in the information distribution request, when receiving the information distribution request from the portable terminal; and means for sending the determined content to the portable terminal via the access point.
