PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that suppresses fogging more than a conventional toner, especially a toner that suppresses the dependence on a back contrast control.SOLUTION: A toner includes toner particles containing an organic silicon polymer and a resin A. The organic silicon polymer includes a specific partial structure. The toner particles contain 0.050 specific partial structures or more per 1.000 silicon atom contained in the organic silicon polymer. In X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis of the surface of the toner particles, when the total of a concentration of carbon atoms dC, a concentration of oxygen atoms dO, and a concentration of silicon atoms dSi of the surface of the toner particles is set as 100.0 atomic%, the concentration of silicon atoms dSi is 1.0 atomic% or more. The resin A is a resin containing 0.1 mol% or more and 30.0 mol% or less of an isosorbide unit. |
