PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an input image display area where a contrast falls in an area around a measurement image when implementing calibration in display devices performing a local Deming control.SOLUTION: In a display device comprising: light emission means that has a plurality of light emitting blocks capable of individually changing light emission luminance; a display panel that modulates light from the light emission means to thereby display an image on a screen; and control means that causes a measurement image for use in calibration of the display device to be displayed, When dividing the screen into a plurality of display blocks corresponding to the plurality of light emission blocks, the control means is configured to display, on the screen, the measurement image at a location where the number of display blocks superimposing the measurement image is minimum. |
