PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform gain control with no discomfort.SOLUTION: An audio signal processing apparatus includes an amplifier which switches the gain of a conversion unit for converting an audio signal into a digital signal, a first filter passing the band where the overtones of an output from the conversion unit are not heard, a second filter passing the frequency below the passband of the first filter, a switch for selecting one of the outputs from the first filter and the conversion unit, a gain control section for controlling the gain of the amplifier from the output of the switch, a third filter for reducing the loopback noise of harmonics output from the gain control section, and control means for selecting the output from the first filter when the output from the second filter exceeds a threshold. |
