PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for uniformly coating the surface of a lithium ion battery active material with a conductive substance, and to provide, by the method, a lithium ion battery superior in charge and discharge cycle characteristics and output characteristics.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a modified lithium ion battery active material (F) comprises the step of removing, from a mixture (K) arranged by mixing a conductive substance (B) and a lithium ion battery active material (D) in a supercritical or subcritical fluid (A), the supercritical or subcritical fluid (A). It is preferred that the mixture (K) is a mixture (K1) arranged by mixing the lithium ion battery active material (D) in a mixture arranged by mixing the conductive substance (B) in the supercritical or subcritical fluid (A). |
