PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of binding in a sheet processing device including a plurality of binding units for which the numbers of sheets to be accepted are different from each other.SOLUTION: The sheet processing device includes a plurality of binding sections and a movement control section. The binding sections move from a predetermined position to a binding position in order to collectively bind a plurality of sheets, thereby binding a plurality of sheets loaded on a sheet loading section where the sheets are loaded until a plurality of sheets subjected to binding are prepared, at the binding position. For the plurality of binding sections, the upper limit numbers of sheets which can be accepted for binding the plurality of sheets, are different from each other. The movement control section individually controls the movement of the plurality of binding sections, respectively. Only in the case where the upper limit number of a binding section at an accepting position among the plurality of binding section is less than the number of a plurality of sheets subjected to binding, the movement control section moves the binding section at the accepting position to the outside of the accepting position until sheets are loaded just for the predetermined number on the sheet loading section. |
