PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive coating method capable of applying an adhesive stably to a cut surface without requiring any large scale device for holding a plate-like member.SOLUTION: At a holding step, a siding material 91 is held to direct a cut surface 91a downward so that the outer circumference 12c of a coating roller 12 inclined with respect to a horizontal plane and the cut surface 91a may be substantially parallel. Next, at a coating step, the cut surface 91a of the siding material 91 is made to contact with the coating roller 12, and the siding material 91 is displaced relative to the coating roller 12 while rotating the coating roller 12, thereby to coat an adhesive to the cut surface 91a. |
