PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for facilitating the maintenance of a turning speed of armrests.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 12 includes: a seat surface where a user is to be seated; armrests positioned on the right and left sides of the seat surface; and turning devices for turnably supporting the armrests. The armrests are turnable between use positions for dividing the right and left sides of the seat surface and jump-up positions separated from the seat surface. The turning devices turnably support the armrests by defining a horizontal direction as a turning axis. The turning devices control the turning speed of the armrests by fluid resistance with respect to the turning of the armrests. |
