PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool capable of stably discharging chips.SOLUTION: A cutting tool includes: a bar-shaped holder member 5 extending from a tip side to a rear end side along a central axis O1; a first flow passage 9 provided in the holder member 5 to cause a coolant to flow; an insert pocket 11 formed on the tip side in an outer peripheral surface of the holder member 5; a cutting insert 3 mounted in the insert pocket 11 so that a cutting blade 19a projects from the outer periphery of the holder member 5; a nozzle member 7 located on the tip side of the holder member 5; and a second flow passage 23 which is provided in the nozzle member 7, has one end 23a connected to the first flow passage 9 and the other end 23b opened toward the cutting blade 19a and causes the coolant to flow. The cutting blade 19a is located on the rear end side of the holder member 5 from the other end 23b of the second flow passage 23. |
