PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently form an image when an image forming device forming an image on a cut paper carries out printing by using long paper.SOLUTION: The controlling of an image forming device generating an effective area signal corresponding to paper length in a carrying direction of the paper to the paper in an irregular size, and forming an image by reading image data on the basis of the effective area signal, when an image is formed by using long paper, the effective area signals are generated in a plurality of channels. During a period that the effective area signals are not generated in any channel, controlling for generating the next effective area signal is carried out. The effective area signals in the plurality of channels are composed to generate continuous effective area signals which continue according to the long paper, and on the basis of the continuous effective area signals, the image data is read to form the image. |
