PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conjecture the distance between a capacitive sensor and a driver's fingertip more accurately.SOLUTION: A vehicle input device 10 comprises: a capacitive sensor 12 including a plurality of first conductors 54 disposed to be aligned in a vehicle front-rear direction; and a control unit 14 conjecturing a clearance between the capacitive sensor 12 and a finger of the driver on the basis of a quantity of charge stored in the first conductor 54 disposed on a rear side of the vehicle among the plurality of first conductors 54, and conjecturing a position of the driver's finger in the front-rear direction on the capacitive sensor 12 on the basis of the difference among quantities of charge stored in the plurality of first conductors 54. |
