PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a communication fault by making a network repeater deal with a change of a network configuration, the network repeater being adaptable to a so-called multiple VLAN and adopting an IVL system for a MAC address learning system.SOLUTION: A network device includes: a repetition processing section which repeats a communication between a client device and the network repeater and is capable of simultaneously connecting one client device to a plurality of virtual networks comprising network repeaters; and an update processing section which updates storage information by using information of the client devices connected to the network device regarding the client devices being connected to a plurality of ports of the network repeater, respectively, the storage information including an identification number of the virtual network to which the client devices belong and identifiers of the client devices. |
