PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of occasionally sacrificing an electric apparatus's convenience to a power user in the conventional system.SOLUTION: A power management system comprises: a start determination unit for determining whether or not to start regarding processing of regarding at least part of power consumption measured by a watt-hour meter as power provided by a first power supply device or a first power supplier; an end determination unit for determining whether or not to end the regarding processing; and a request transmission unit for transmitting a request for making processing for determining power consumption in a regarding period be executed to the watt-hour meter or a management device for managing the watt-hour meter.
