PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a blade rubber which is excellent in sweeping performance.SOLUTION: A long blade rubber 10 comprises a sweeping part 10b for sweeping a windshield while extending downward from a base part 10a. A resin member 14, which is harder than an elastic member 13 on the base part side of the sweeping part 10b, is provided at the lower end part of the sweeping part 10b. The sweeping part 10b is formed so as to incline with respect to a hanging direction orthogonal to a width direction. An edge part 14c in slide contact with the windshield is formed in the resin member 14. A manufacturing method of the long blade rubber 10 comprises: a molding process of molding a blade rubber molded article 20 formed of the elastic member 13 and the resin member 14; a side cutting process of forming a side cut surface 14a by cutting the side surface of the resin member 14 of the blade rubber molded article 20; and a lower cutting process of forming a lower cut surface 14b by cutting the lower end of the resin member 14 of the blade rubber molded article 20. The side cut surface 14a and the lower cut surface 14b together form the edge part 14c. |
