PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a linear compressor which allows a gas bearing to easily operate between a cylinder and a piston.SOLUTION: A linear compressor comprises: a shell provided with an intake section; a cylinder which is installed inside the shell and forms a coolant compression space; a piston which is installed inside the cylinder in a manner that can reciprocate in an axial direction; a discharge valve which is installed at one side of the cylinder and selectively discharges the coolant compressed in the coolant compression space; and a nozzle section which is installed on the cylinder and allows at least a portion of the coolant discharged through the discharge valve to flow therethrough; and a channel which guides the coolant discharged through the discharge valve to the nozzle section. |
