PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate some disadvantages that a small-sized high output built-in type motor must be sufficiently cooled in order to assure performance of the motor or its safety due to the fact that a large amount of heat is generated at the motor and the motor is hardly cooled, and when a diameter of a housing for fixing a stator becomes larger than that of a crank case, the housing may become a location showing the largest diameter, so that it is necessary to make a thin wall as much as possible to make a light weight and eliminate some possibility that a poor rigidity occurs due to a thin wall housing to cause noise or irregular sound to occur and fatigue breakage of the housing may occur due to vibration of the motor.SOLUTION: A location for use in connecting a crank case with a housing for fixing a stator arranged at one end side of the crank case is provided with vent holes through which cooling air passes. In addition, there are provided between the vent holes ribs for reinforcing the housing and the fixture for fixing the stator to the housing. |
