PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head that can suppress generation of a satellite and meet high-quality and high-speed printing.SOLUTION: An inkjet head comprises: a pattern generator 301 that generates a waveform pattern of driving pulse signals including expanded pulses that inflate volume of a pressure chamber and compressed pulses that deflate the volume of the pressure chamber; and a frequency setting portion 303 that sets driving frequencies for the driving pulse signals. The pattern generator 301 generates a waveform pattern in which discharge speed saturates even when driving voltages are increased. The frequency setting portion 303 sets driving frequencies at which the satellite is not generated at the discharge speed in the saturated state.
