PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire forming device which can reduce variation in wire length.SOLUTION: A wire forming device 1 for forming a cross sectional shape of a wire 2 includes: a feed unit 10 which moves the wire 2 in its axial direction; and a forming unit 20 which applies a load on the wire 2 fed by the feed unit 10 in a direction intersecting an axis of the wire 2. A spring 30 as load adjusting means applies a load on the forming unit 20 in a direction opposite to a moving direction of the wire 2, and reduces a load acting on the wire 2 from the feed unit 20. Thereby, accelerations of the forming unit 20 and the wire 2 in moving the wire 2 by the feed unit 10 are reduced by elastic force of the spring 30. |
