OBSERVATION METHOD FOR DEFORMATION OF ELASTIC MATERIAL, AND PROJECTION IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation method that allows observation for deformation of an elastic material such as rubber which is imparted with a slip angle.SOLUTION: A projection image photographing apparatus 1 includes: travel surface means 3 having a continuously movable travel surface 3s; support means 4 that rotatably supports an elastic material 2 having a circular outer peripheral surface, and rolls the elastic material 2 on the travel surface 3s; and photographing means 5 that photographs a projection image of the elastic material 2 rolling on the travel surface 3s in a plurality of photographing positions around any axis line. The support means 4 includes: slip angle setting means 6 that imparts a slip angle to the elastic material 2 to roll the elastic material 2 on the travel surface 3s; and first rotation means 7 that rotationally drives the elastic material 2 to roll the elastic material 2 on the travel surface 3s.
