摘要 The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a zirconium alloy cladding tube and the zirconium alloy cladding tube manufactured accordingly and, more specifically, relates to the method of manufacturing the zirconium alloy cladding tube using arc ion plating, comprising: (step 1) a step of mounting the zirconium alloy cladding tube and a high temperature oxidation resistance material target in a vacuum chamber; (step 2) a step of increasing temperature of the zirconium alloy cladding tube of step 1; and (step 3) a step of depositing a high temperature oxidation resistance material on the zirconium alloy cladding tube by applying a current and a bias voltage to the high temperature oxidation resistance material target. The method to manufacture the zirconium alloy cladding tube in accordance to the present invention reduces problems capable of causing degradation of mechanical properties and oxidation resistance of zirconium by being able to suppress physical damage between a coating layer and a zirconium alloy parent material by coating the high temperature oxidation resistance material at relatively low temperatures by the arc ion plating method. Moreover, the method of the present invention has the effect of improving oxidation resistance not only in a normal state, but also in high temperature accident environment by improving adhesion between the zirconium alloy parent material and the coating layer comprising an ultra high temperature oxidation resistance material.
