The present invention relates to a ball valve which has asymmetric sheet carriers. The ball valve having the asymmetric sheet carriers of the present invention comprises: a body which is combined with an outside pipe in both sides; a ball which is included in the body and has a flow path formed horizontally; a stem which is combined with the upper end of the ball by penetrating the upper part of the body and selectively opens and closes the flow path by rotating the ball with a handle formed in the upper part; a sheet which is formed in both sides of the ball; and sheet carriers which are formed asymmetrically in both sides of the ball and are formed by being closely attached to the sheet in order to pressurize the sheet to the ball side. Thereby the present invention has effects of: stabilizing the internal pressure of a cavity by enabling self-relieving without a valve for lowering the pressure of the cavity since the sheet carriers are formed to be pushed away from the ball and lower the pressure of the cavity when the pressure of the cavity increases in an upstream flow; and improving airtightness since the sheet carriers always pressurize the ball in a downstream flow. |
