PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: when a user manually inputs connection information, an input error may occur; and when connection information including such an input error is written into NFC, printing using the printing device cannot be performed.SOLUTION: An information processing device and its control method search for an opposite apparatus which will be a communication party and display apparatus information obtained by the search. On the basis of the apparatus information, the information processing device and the control method generate connection information for connecting with the opposite apparatus and write the generated connection information in a wireless communication tag.
