PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control unit capable of generating more electric power by regenerative power generation while suppressing the degradation of utilization efficiency of power supply means.SOLUTION: A vehicle control unit (ECU) 19 comprises: regenerative means generating electric power while applying a regenerative braking force Tr1 by regenerative power generation; power supply means capable of transmitting and receiving electric power to and from the regenerative means; and hydraulic means applying a hydraulic braking force Tr2 resulting from a hydraulic pressure. The vehicle control unit (ECU) 19 comprises control means (map reference unit) 1922 controlling the regenerative means and the hydraulic means so as to adjust ratios r1 and r2 of the regenerative braking force Tr1 and the hydraulic braking force Tr2 to a demanded braking force Tr0 necessary to brake a vehicle on the basis of an input electric power value Pin input to the power supply means. |
