CONTROL METHOD OF METAL SULFIDE FORMATION REACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a metal sulfide formation reaction which suppresses excessive generation of hydrogen sulfide gas by controlling the supply flow rate of a sulfurizing agent and the supply flow rate of an alkaline aqueous solution to keep the pH adequately and reduce waste of the sulfurizing agent.SOLUTION: A control method of a metal sulfide formation reaction comprises mixing an alkaline aqueous solution whose alkali amount is such that, with the reaction equivalent with sodium hydrogen sulfide in a sodium hydrogen sulfide aqueous solution taken as 100%, the addition amount is 80-120% of the reaction equivalent and the sodium hydrogen sulfide aqueous solution together to prepare a mixed solution and adding the mixed solution to an acidic aqueous solution containing a metal to precipitate the metal as the sulfide so as to control the metal sulfide formation reaction.
