PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a driver from continuing a designating maneuver even after the designating maneuver is disabled.SOLUTION: When a designation image is displayed on a display screen, if beginning of running a vehicle is detected, the display on the display screen is changed to a state in which a designation disabling image (image signifying that the contents of an action of onboard equipment cannot be designated) is displayed. Prior to displaying the designation disabling image, notice display of giving notice that the designation disabling image will be displayed is performed. The designation disabling image is then displayed. Thus, when the notice display is initiated, a driver can recognize that the display of the designation image will soon be terminated and can prepare to change his/her mind. When the designation disabling image is displayed in this state, the driver changes his/her mind with the display as a trigger. Thereafter, the driver can be prevented from designating the contents of an action of the onboard equipment. |
