PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar handle brake device for a vehicle in which the number of components is reduced and which is equipped with an interlock mechanism having a simple structure.SOLUTION: Through operation of a brake pedal 5, a mechanical rear wheel brake 3 is operated and a hydraulic front wheel brake 2 is operated via an interlock mechanism 6 in linkage with the rear wheel brake. In the brake pedal 5, an intermediate part thereof is pivotally supported by a fixed shaft 9, a tip thereof is provided with a foot part 5a, an arm member 11 is so attached to a rear end part thereof as to be rotatable by a support shaft 10, and a hydraulic master cylinder 12 is provided between the fixed shaft 9 and the support shaft 10. The arm member 11 is equipped with: a rotating stem 11a; a brake pedal contact arm 11b which contacts the brake pedal 5 and integrally moves the arm member 11 together with the brake pedal 5; a cooperation means connection part 11e for connection of cooperation means 8; and a push arm 11d which pushes a piston 14 by rotating the arm member 11 by cooperation means 8 when a reaction power from the rear wheel brake 3 is generated. |
