PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning unit capable of securing stable dust catch performance.SOLUTION: A cleaning unit (1) includes: a dust collection body (2) to which dust is attached and that carries the dust; a drive device (3) for driving the dust collection body (2); a removal mechanism (5) for removing dust attached to the dust collection body (2); and a recovery part (6) for recovering the dust removed by the removal mechanism (5). The dust collection body (2) includes a first rotation body (20). The first rotation body (20) includes: a cylindrical member; an elastic member arranged to enclose the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member; and a charged body (21) arranged to enclose the outer peripheral surface of the elastic member. The circumferential directional length of the charged body (21) is predetermined to restrict the diameter of the elastic member to be a fixed value.
