摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary monitoring radar capable of sending out a target report having excellent position accuracy, and an azimuth correction method used in this secondary monitoring radar.SOLUTION: SSR position information in which the aircraft observation position detected on the basis of an SSR response signal is corrected on the basis of a previously stored azimuth correction value and ADS-B position information autonomously notified by the same aircraft are compared at the same time of day, and a difference in azimuth looking at the aircraft from the device between these two of position information is stored and accumulated as azimuth deviation in time sequence. The average value of these azimuth deviations stored in time sequence is calculated, and, if the average value exceeds a preset threshold, a secondary correction value for azimuth correction so as to be matched with the ADS-B position information is calculated and sent out to a correction value storage unit 15, with the azimuth correction value thereby updated.
