PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of detecting the positional deviation of a cut paper printed by the fixing unit of a digital printer and specifying the cut paper where the positional deviation exceeding a permissible value occurs, after printing.SOLUTION: A conveyance failure detection system for a cut paper 1 which is a system provided in a digital printer 3 for printing a cut paper 2 comprises at least an edge sensor 11 which projects parallel light 113 and detects the edge position of the cut paper 2 fed to the fixing unit 30 of the digital printer 3, a code scanner 12 which optically reads a management code 20 printed on the cut paper 2 after printing discharged from the fixing unit 30 of the digital printer 3 in the form of an optical recognition code, and a controller 10 to which the edge sensor 11 and the code scanner 12 are connected and which calculates the positional deviation of the cut paper 2 from the edge position of the cut paper 2 and determines the occurrence of conveyance failure. |
