PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a new pipe of which construction can be efficiently carried out by an easy method and provide a pipe material used for constructing the new pipe.SOLUTION: This invention comprises the steps of: preparing a pipe material 1 composed of an outer pipe 2 and an inner pipe 12 by inserting the inner pipe 12 acting as a winding pipe of which circumferential portion is not yet partially connected and one end edge part 13 in a circumferential direction at the not-yet connected portion is wound inside the other end edge part 14 into the outer pipe 2; inserting the pipe material 1 inside an existing pipe passage 100; taking-out the inner pipe 12 from the outer pipe 2 inside the existing pipe passage 100; connecting the not-yet connected portion of the inner pipe 12 taken out of the outer pipe 2; and abutting the outer pipe 2 against the inner pipe 12 with each of their axial lines O1, O2 being coincided to each other to perform circumferential connection.
