PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant capable of injecting water into a reactor well at a time of plant operation and monitoring the water level of the reactor well.SOLUTION: A nuclear power plant 100 including a reactor pressure vessel 1; a containment 2 storing the reactor pressure vessel 1; a reactor well 3 located above the containment 2; and a well cover 6 closing an upper portion of the reactor well 3, comprises: a water injection line 11 provided to be inserted into the well cover 3 and injecting water into the reactor well 3; a drain line 12 draining the water from the reactor well 3; a detection pipe 14 whose one end is connected to the drain line 12; and a differential pressure water level meter 20 connected to the other end of the detection pipe 14 and measuring a water level of the reactor well 3 by a hydraulic head pressure. |
