PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syngas supply system that can stably supply syngas produced from coal as fuel for power generation and especially as fuel for petrochemical plants that require stable supply for a long time, as long as possible.SOLUTION: In a syngas supply system, gas distribution pipelines 18A, 18B connect gas users 20A, 20B with a header pipeline 12 linked to a plurality of gasification furnaces 10a-10d. Flow rate detection means 24A, 24B are each installed on the gas distribution pipelines 18A, 18B, and gas distribution valves 22A, 22B are each installed downstream from the flow rate detection means 24A, 24B. A controller 26 controls the opening of the gas distribution valves 22A, 22B so that a total rate of syngas detected by the flow rate detection means 24A, 24B is always lower than a predetermined maximum supply rate. |
